Mark Cox founded The BettenField Group to address what he saw as an emerging demand for small and mid-size banks to effectively document their third-party oversight and meet regulatory requirements with limited resources.
Throughout his career, Mark has focused on building new efficiencies and streamlining processes and procedures in his work at both large and small corporations across a diverse range of departments, including operations, sales, and technology. As part of his focus on building efficient processes, he has developed and refined vendor management programs to meet board oversight requirements and regulatory expectations.
Prior to founding The BettenField Group, Mark has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director of Lending Operations at Charles Schwab Bank.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from California State University, Fresno.
